How long will Thornwell be here? Will he stay for his Junior or Senior seasons?

They need more developed ballers is all. Right now they have 2 undeveloped ones in Williams and Thornwell. CHOICE HAD 8 TO's and 9 points. Thornwell had 6. HENRY WAS 0-6 from the floor with 1 rebound as a starter. Kacinas was 2-2 from the floor but had 4 fouls...Chat is a big body... There is no fix for this team but to play with more fire down low and get Choice to protect the ball.

Losing Johnson and Ellington seems to be more harmful than I had hoped. I wonder if we still had them if we would have lost that game? Their confidence and toughness might have let us hang on to enough of that lead to win the game. This team has a lot of weaknesses, and not having Ellington and Johnson will probably mean we will have several more losses than we would if we had them.

Are you suggesting he'll go pro?

6'5 guard who can handle, get into the paint, and has a decent jump shot. Thornwell is shooting 39% from three, which is very good for a freshmen. If he has a really good sophomore season, he could definitely go pro like Kentavius Caldwell-Pope did.

Notice could go pro too eventually. The announcer during the ESPN/ABC broadcast mentioned there were NBA scouts at the Ole Miss game looking at Notice. 6'3 combo guard with solid defensive instincts, ball skills, and exceptional size/strength for his position.

Notice and Thornwell are good building blocks. Stroman will help a lot next year too.

Notice having 8 to's and 9 points doesn't help his stock.
I like Thornwell but no way he leaves early to go play overseas and he is going to be good but there is so much raw talent in NCAAM. He definitely has a good shot and height, but against NBA level competition (UF, Ok St) he has way too many TO's and few pts. He will get a little longer and taller over the next 2 years. If his production goes up and he gets more consistent by cutting out Boise St., USCU, and FIU type games he could get drafted. He's reminds me of Tarence Kinsey.
