Barker and Prince would have been nice pick-ups, but as you said there were extenuating circumstances. Thank you for thoughtful response. It looks like we are still going to get 19-20 by the end of the day. What a coaching staff we have with SOS et al.

It is really nice to wear my Gamecock clothes here in Phoenix and people know the Gamecocks and do not think that I am advertising a brand of prophylactics.

Gah, you're right...my bad....fixed it. Regardless, at this point I almost always expect us to pull recruits we want out of NC...it's become quite the Spurrier tradition!

No problem. I'm excited because our coaches seem to excel at player development. It also seems like the rankings of the recruits (for what those are worth) keep on ticking upward as well, which I figure gives them more and more to work with. We'll see only a couple of these guys in 2014, but classes like these pay huge dividends down the line in the years to come, especially when they stack up year after year like our coaches are doing.

I also know exactly what you mean regarding getting the gamecock recognized....I sport it up in MD to visit family and such...I've run into quite a few current students as well up there, which is always cool!

Still disappointing to have finished 4th nationally on the back of 3 11 win seasons with 3 impressive bowl wins and be almost at the bottom of the top 25 in recruiting. Tennessee have had 3 bad seasons and are in the top 5?? Bama has 5 5 stars and 13 or 14 4 stars. That's where we need to be.

Yeah, he basically said what we already knew, was just making sure the guys on ESPN knew about it. He mentioned it was about time they started talking about the #4 team in the country.
