Braves are screwed. The rotation was once a strength. Now it's a mess. Unless some miracles happen, there's no way this team can make the playoffs now.

Putting emotions aside, you can still get Braves season wins under 87.5 which looks like a pretty good wager.

It's the draftpick that's going to hurt more than anything down the line. Santana is a good pitcher, who's pretty reliable in the number of innings he'll eat for your ballclub.

We're getting another draft pick from McCann. Then you make a qualifying offer to Santana next year, and get a draft pick when he signs with someone else.

Looks like Beachy could need TJ, again.

We have had way too many of these this decade. I can remember Venters, EOF, Beachy (possibly #2 needed) and Medlen twice. Who am I missing?

Not sure about the 2010s decade, but I remember Smoltz, Hampton, Hudson, and Moylan having TJS in the early to mid part of the last decade.

What happened to Christhian Martinez? I want to say elbow problems as well, but not completely sure.
