In a few offenses, tight ends only block. Those offenses basically use an extra OT as an end, I think almost every successful NFL offense uses the TE's as receivers and the Patriots use them to the max. The Panthers's top receiver last year was a TE. Or passing downs, an H back or fullback is often used as an extra blocker. We owe Georgia a few beat-downs by tight ends just as payback.
In Spurrier's schemes, the TE seems to seldom be target 1, but he has modified his thinking lately on the running game (probably based largely on Lattimore and Davis). He may see some possibilities with the personnel he has now at tight end. The beauty of a fast TE like Adams or Busta is that if you're a linebacker, you don't know if he's going to hit you or blow by you.

I'd like to see us use our TEs more like ::::: throws up in mouth ::::: dare I say, UGA.

A TE is a weapon best used when least expected. A TE is a true momentum changer, a back breaker, a crippler that disheartens the competition when used at the right time.

We used Justice Cunningham and we'll use our TEs this coming season more like we used him IMHO.

Brison moving to corner unless one of the true freshman are good enough to start like Gilmore did. He may stay at corner anyway.

I still put Mitch at number 2 behind Dylan.

Yea it is looking more Brison may be sticking at CB.

We are still solid at Safety with Gurley and Elder starting. And Marcus can fill in at either spot.

Ward likes to cross train the guys who can to give him flexibility.

Orth is 2 according to Spurrier. Why don't people think Orth is 2 if HBC says he is?

Because the HBC has a reputation for making walk on QBs #2 in the Spring, then forgetting about them in the Fall perhaps?

Even Orth doesn't believe him.
