The fact that this is currently tied is absurd, presumably due to these protest votes that function to exclude the actual good and interesting hair/glam metal bands from the competition. Honestly, GNR belongs to the 80s glam metal scene/sound much more than Bon Jovi. Bon Jersey had a freaking keyboard player, which was a huge no-no in these groups back then (I realize Axl played piano on Illusion, but that's better than 80s synth pads). I also don't remember Bon Jovi touring with the other bands. Then they turned into some soft country rock.
