Hersey Hawkins, Danny Grainger, Anthony Parker all went to Bradley, it has a decent basketball tradition, they recruit Chicago well since it is jus down the road and went to the sweet 16 in 2006 and played in the finals twice

However, I'm more concerned about Martin's inability to land a post player. While Cunningham is listed in this thread title as a Power Forward, at 6-6 189 lbs he was a Small Forward all the way.

We have undoubtedly one of the weakest frontcourts of any power conference team in the country, yet with limited scholarships available, we're currently bringing in a PG, SG, and SF. It is certainly difficult to find skilled bigs. However, in our current recruiting class we don't have ANY bigs, skilled... unskilled... or anywhere in between. There also haven't been any reports that we're in the mix for any posts this class. Zero incoming post recruits, combined with our extremely weak frontcourt, does not spell success.

Fingers crossed that we find a frontcourt player somewhere to add to the class, but it doesn't look promising. I understand that it's difficult to find quality bigs, but we won't improve our anemic frontcourt with zero post recruits.
I have no doubt that you will find much worse frontcourts in the country then the returning LChat, Kacinas, Ringer, Henry, and Carrera!

Our front court appears weak because we have no perimeter shooters. If we can find shooters, our front court will find more room to operate.

We have OK shooters, but they don't space well or move around without the ball well. Frank Martin teams don't necessarily need this to win, but a decent shot blocker and more versatile wings could help play Martin ball.

That's pretty harsh. They aren't great, but there are crappier bigs out there.

LChat and Kacinas have high basketball IQ's and have improved every year, so I would expect them to have pretty good JR years passing, rebounding and complimenting Ringer and Henry who both showed some flashes last year as true FR. Carrera will give us energy on both ends of the floor to go with a work ethic and leadership along with Johnson. Have a good offseason of strength, conditioning and coaching from Coach Martin, the return of Thornwell and the addition of Stroman gives us a very deep and athletic team next year IMO. If we are able to get transfer 6'7 SG House and he is given a waiver to play this year we would look pretty good on paper to me.

Yeah, because we didn't land a 4-star guard last year (Sindarius), a 4-star PF (Henry), a 4-star transfer (Ty Johnson) and a 4-star point guard this year (Stroman).

Cunningham wanted to stay close to home.

Chatkevicius and Henry were/are both billed as low-post players. They just haven't had a great impact so far.

Chatkevicius showed encouraging signs last season. He increased his fg% by a lot, and looked much more fluid on the block. I think he's going to end up starting at center and become that player down low.
