A bit late, I had already made that joke in the other thread.

Where did you get that tip from?

Those guys would have been big contributors. They are key losses. What it means for us going forward is the following.
Flipping Zaycoven Henderson (DT) who was expected to start over Golden and Otaro Alaka (LB) from Texas is now that much bigger. Freshman Deshawn Washington (top DT in the state) will have to contribute immediately. Justin Manning, who was as highly regarded coming out of high school and redshirted last year, will absolutely have to step up. Hardreck Walker, who saw ample playing time last year, will also have to be a contributor inside. At linebacker, Reggie Chevis and Jordan Mastrogiovanni will have to be as advertised coming out of spring ball. Chevis (redshirted) will have to prove himself against the pass, Mastro (started) will have to improve against the run.
The long and short is I don't think we redshirt anybody, and everyone will have to show the improvement they're expected to show from day 1. This defense will still be better, but no doubt will be less improved than they could have been. And asking all those guys, especially freshmen, to be fully prepared to face mike Davis and y'all's oline will be a tall order. The overall outlook and needs are still the same, the job just got a bit tougher. A&M will have more quality depth than last year, but will be just as young.
