Good for him he deserves it. He was one of the more underrated defensive players we have ever had.

Nah, seriously, he really played well for us, and was clutch when he had to be. He never got any all SEC recognition, or so much as had an interview, I think. He just quietly took care of business.

Absolutely. Jimmy is a really good FOOTBALL player. Great athlete, good size for his position, good extinctive player...the proverbial 'nose for the ball'. He can tackle...can never be overstated how big this is. A lot of great athletes can run and jump and catch but can't bring down another great athlete on what is a really big field when that is the task at hand and said great athlete is trying to not be brought down. He may be lacking a fraction of a hundredth of a second when he is timed not playing football and simply running in a straight line but when the game is happening and you're geared up he can play.

Jimmy is fighting somewhat of an uphill battle because he wasn't invited to the combine. But at least he's in a camp, so he has a chance. I think that's all what most if these guys ever wanted.....a chance.

Great kid, very happy for him.

I remember when he played in high school, he never came off the field. He played RB on offense, DB on defense and all the special teams.

Hard work and determination paid off for him.

I always thought Jimmy was a good corner. He made a lot of big plays for us.

Did Legree make that awesome pass break-up in the UGA game 2 years ago? It was a long ball, well thrown by Murray, and I think Legree got his fingertip on the ball and prevented a TD. Big-time play. That's how I remember it, at least.
