Yes he does, just like a QB gets him the ball. My point is, his skill set is not elite as a pure WR. He is not Calvin Johnson type measurables for a WR. He plays the role of a TE, where he blocks and is attached to the OL. So he is a TE. It's like arguing FBs should get RB money, since both are in the backfield and can get the ball.

The simipliest answer to this, is he was voted all pro TE and never complained.
