This would be great. Maybe it's not as severe as we thought.

Saw where Miss. State lost their Right Tackle for the year. Injuries like this are bad but even worse when they happen before you even play your first game.

This hurts because at full health, Matulis would have given us an offensive line with no weak spots for the first time in the Spurrier era. Not saying that Waldrop/Stadnik can't still provide the same thing. Stadnik was really good last season when he filled in at center so hopefully he can continue there.
I never noticed. Guess that's why o lineman pretty much only get talked about when they are hurt and almost all I've ever heard about MM is another injury. I still don't think it's going to affect us that dramatically. If it does then we still don't have a fully loaded offensive line yet.

Saying that - I am certain that you will understand why I wish you guys win all your games this season - except your first one.
This has nothing to do with the thread but I would love for a good rivalry to develop between us an A&M. Especially if we could go into Texas and poach some elite talent.

I hope Mike does recover quickly and completely. For his game play, of course, but more so just for the name - Matulis . Is it just me or is that not just a bad azz name for an O-lineman? Mike Matulis. It makes me think of great big earthmover type dude. Nothing graceful or prosaic. Apart from the dude himself, that is an intimidating name. Matulis . Is it just me?

We don't really have a fully loaded OL yet. Depth is very thin right now.

Knott and B Stadnick are hurt. Matulis is out for atleast half the season.

Sport can be a serviceable backup at C. Zandi can be serviceable at T. Rodgers is hopefully serviceable at G/T. Gibson and Zandi are getting reps at G.

A lot of moving around and patchwork if we were to have someone else go down.
