I agree. People use the term Spread when they actually mean HUNH... SC's offense is okay, but I would like to see more tempo. With a little more tempo and two back our offense could be potent. SC actually uses a variation of the Spread already.

College football has almost come full circle. Defenses are going to find it difficult to scout for Pro-style offenses because everyone is now running versions of Spread. Teams don't see our type of offense much anymore. Stay put SOS and let the universe change, not you.

Literally everything I've wanted to say.. but couldn't find the words. I love when Spurrier increases the pace.. that's when he's really having fun. Carolina is a dangerous team when the tempo is going..

Maybe not, but every one of those backs got carries and Marshall got a little gimped up which probably limited his # getting called. We could and should rotate all our backs in. Williams was a 4* recruit! redshirted last year and should be tested at the very least. Mike is not dependable right now. Next man up!

Interesting point. not the cross fit per say but what it represents, developing a combo of a traditional cardio gas tank combined with explosive movement.
how often over the yrs have we heard commentators refer to the deep south outside staduims extreme heat, college and pro and the inherit advantages for home games of living, working out, practicing and playing in said extreme temp. visiting opp from more gentle climate simply welt under the duress.
makes sence, Iv'e seen it time and time again over the yrs with this teams and that. I've seen the withering of a team in our games, as well. unfortunatly it has been our team doing the withering. it isn't logical. a person can't help but adapt to such heat when working out in it, breathing it. feeling it, walking to the store in it. it is why any of us would have such difficulty with a trip up to the far north in deep winter. our body simply would not be set for the extreme cold.
our guys shouldn't be gassing out when exposed to some pace in heat like as we have seen many times, TAM, UNC to name a couple. it should be home, the place they are most comfortable, most effective. conditioning certainly includes but is more than running. it is being conditioned to ones surrounding and the circumstances they face in it. part of that occurs by simply being there, doing what you do in that atmosphere.
can anyone take a gander at explaining our struggles??

If Texas A&m can use it for evil purposes, why can't we? I'd love to see a flat out killer spread be used here.
Being 33-6 the past 3yrs is pretty lethal too.
