South Carolina AD Ticked?

What do you guys make of the post on Seth Emersen's blog which reports that Hyman was at the spurrier post game presser and when Spurrier said, "I thought the coaches had a good plan in place tonight..." Hyman said "Yeah, so did I from the back of the room and then walked out.

I couldn't figure out if that meant he was ticked or what. Honestly, I'm still 100% on-board with spurrier...way moreso than after last season....it's rediculous how young we are. Now, that's assuming we don't lose out or some nonesense. However, I must admit I am excited to see who Eric Hyman will hire. I think we were all pleasantly surprised with the basketball hirings.

Wow. It'd be one thing if Spurrier gave up on USC, it'd be another if USC gave up on him.

But again, I still think we have SOS for at least 4 more years regardless of what happens.

i'm sorry but if its true then i stand and applaud. people need to be upset. we have enough talent to beat tennessee. its not that we lost, its they way we lost.

I think he was talking about the refs. Gilmores TD called back, an a # of holding calls that we didn't get.

well im glad hyman said that. spurrier needed to hear that. it dosent matter how many wins you have, maybe he needs a fire lit under him. i mean there was some way off the wall play calls at certain important points in that game.

tell me what is wrong with being an all out passing team. its like hes trying to recreate himself a new style, different than the style he was so known for.

dont say we dont have the talent, cause we do. we have more talent now than florida and vandy enough to blow them out, and we dont. its like we want close games, and settle for them.

If you mean by handing them the ball three times in our own side of the field to start the game, I agree but our game plan had little to do with the way we lost.

Spurrier isn't above Hyman or USC .. getting rid of him would sure be a pr nightmare but to say it will NEVER happen is false .. A big part of Hyman's "legacy' will be his first football hire, and if he follows the same formula he did for basketball, it'll be solid.
