Something interesting from Spurrier's call in show last night

I was reading the call in show notes on another site from last night .. Spurrier was speaking on recruiting (which he said is going very well) and he said we have 7 oline commitments (Mack, Cann, Williams, Millsap, Gibson, Patrick, and Robinson) .. and 3 dline commitments: Quarles, Surratt, and ... wait ... we only have 2 ... you know what that means .. we have a silent somewhere .. just sayin.

..Unless Golson is going to grow into a DE which I don't see happening.

My "source", who works for one of the pay sites, said he really believes floyd will be a gamecock. I hope what he says is true.

I'm pretty certain Spurrier knows who is committed and who is not .. considering he speaks with all of them when they are on campus.

I understand what the saying "silent commit" means, but what does it do in the grand scheme of things? Does the silent go around to other campuses and get into other prospects' ears and just take officials just for the fun of it? I personally think there shouldn't be a "silent". Let it known that you're a gamecock. Get those other recruits in dog gone it!
