Help on game to go to

Always a big debate in my house...the wife and I try to get to one game a year and we go back and forth every year about which...this year is no different

Unfortunately I will be out of the country in Mexico for both the UGA and LSU games. I really wanted to go to Baton Rouge.

So my thoughts are @Vanderbilt, Missouri, @Florida, or Tennessee.

@Vandy because its Nashville and is my bday weekend
Missouri because its our first Big 12 team
@Floriday because its Florida and we havent been there
Tennessee because I just hate UT and would love to see us kill them

Last few years it been against Arky and I am tired of see us lose.

Florida. It's a nice middle of the season game. It gives you something to look forward to, but doesn't take all season to get there like the november games. Plus you've never been

If you've never been to The Swamp, that's the place to go. Their gameday atmosphere is awesome. I've been there 5 times now and it always a blast.

Sorry, just had to get the point across. The Missouri game is the parents weekend game, and even as a student I find the atmosphere to be rather poor compared to literally every other game on the schedule.

I feel like every college football fan should go to at least one big game at The Swamp. I went with some friends in 2006 and was absolutely blown away. Unfortunately, Florida isn't quite the national title contenders that they were a few years ago, but it still should be a great atmosphere with plenty on the line.

I'd do a home game over a road game (if I only could make one) so I'd do Tennessee (of the games you listed).

Normally I would agree but Nashville on a Wednesday night is pretty boring compared to the weekend. Unless you plan on staying after the game.

Wow good question. Some points on each.

@Vandy, as many have said opening games are always fun. But you get your one game out of the way at the very begining of the season. Vandy's stadium is a joke and the atmosphere is terrible, but Nashville is a really, really fun city. The game is Thursday night so you could stay a couple days after and really take it in. Could be a fun trip...not a great FB trip though, IMO.

Missouri, it would be really fun to "welcome" them to the SEC as it is their first SEC road game. It would be a fun home game, and you could see a team you aren't used to seeing. But someone said it is parents weekend and maybe that makes Columbia not as fun?

@UF, I have been and contrary to what everyone else is saying I hated it. It is my least favorite road trip out of the 9 SEC stadiums I have been to. Maybe UF fans treat TN fans differently than they do you all but they are terrible. It is so miserably hot (3:30 game in early sept) and we have lost both game I've been to. I will say though, it IS THE BEST stadium atmosphere I have seen in terms of fan energy and cheer participation, ect. (Never been to LSU).

Tennessee, Great time of year to see a football game with the weather being perfect. The SEC Race will be in full effect at this point and I predict Carolina will be right in the thick of it. TN should be much improved this year so I think this will probably be a ESPN2 night game and could be a great atmosphere. I will be there and you can tailgate with me! LOL. Not a new stadium but always fun to go to your home stadium at least once.

So in conclusion while they all have positives and negatives I would go with either Tennessee or Florida.

The decision lies in whether you want to go to a new stadium or go back home for a game.

I would say Vandy or Fla...but Im not sure how you could go the whole season without being at the Brice so Im going with UT.

Pick a home game so you can see the new video board in person. With that being said, I'd go with the Mizzou game. I can't wait to beat those taters.
