I have compiled ESPN's rankings that you can find on their blog. http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/index/_/count/46
This is how it broke down. (QB,RB,WR,OL rankings)
1. Arkansas (2,3,2,4) Total - 11pts
2. Bama (4,4,7,1) Total - 16pts
2. LSU (8,1,5,2) Total - 16pts
4. Vols (3,12,1,6) Total - 22pts
5. UGA (1,8,3,11) Total - 23pts
6. Tex A&M (13,5,4,3) Total - 25pts
7. Cocks (7,2,12,5) Total - 26pts
8. Vandy (5,6,6,12) Total - 29pts
9. Missouri (6,10,9,7) Total - 32pts
10. Miss St (11,7,8,9) Total - 35pts
11. Barn (9,9,10,8) Total - 36pts
12. UF (10,11,11,10) Total - 42pts
13. Kentucky (12,13,14,13) Total - 52pts
14. Ole Miss (14,14,13,14) Total - 55pts

Also, Vandy at #5 QB. Is that supposed to be Jordan Rogers? And am I supposed to be led to believe that he is superior to Connor Shaw by two spots in the rankings?

Connor Shaw is light years ahead of Jordan Rogers. Im not crazy am I?

I guarantee you that USC will be better than 7th at QB and 12th at WR. FL and MSSU will be better on O, and Vandy and the Vols will not be as good on O.

we return 7 of our 8 top guys in receiving yards from last year. we return 1157 yards receiving from our wr's and te's. 1067 yards from our top 5 returning wr/te's and 8 td. bama loses their top 4 guys in receiving yards. their top 4 returning wr/te's had 787 yards 6 td (they dont have a 5th wr/te returning). they also passed for more yards than us, so its not a matter of us passing more.

but they're 7th in the wr/te group and we're 12th.

I think this is due to the media's respect of Alshon...they think that the other guys only did well because teams focused on AJ. Not saying I agree just guessing why they would rank yall that low.

Keep in mind these are unit rankings and not just starters.

For example Bray was ranked 4th best QB and I think Shaw was 6th. But some teams could be different due to their backups experience. IE TN being #3 since Worley got some playing time last year and we bring in a highly rated HS guy.

Yea I would have to think that we would be in the 11-14 range if they did a ranking of coaching staffs.

Hope our coaches can change the perception of them this fall.

After the past 2 years, Im going to be skeptical about UT and UF offenses until they prove it to me on the field. Especially UF!!! Who is their QB? A 1st year starter. Who is their RB? I dont know. It doesn't matter who they have at WR if their QB isn't any good. We, as Carolina fan, know that. UF has alot to prove to me. AND UT, I know they have a good QB and 2 WRs but their OL has to prove themselves this year. they have be getting praise all spring bc they have been together for 2 years. Well, prove it. Also, who is UT's RB? They can't just throw the ball 50 times a game in the SEC. Teams will catch on. Until these team show me something, all these articles are crap. I wonder still if these writers realize that Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow arent at UF anymore. There is gone!!! Not coming back!! Remember!!! Get a grip on reality UF isnt that good!!! UT has a bad coach!!!

I hope so...he has only had one injury ever.

He didn't play his whole first season only because he wasn't ready till later in the year.

So one freak hand hitting helmet injury is all he has...He has proven to be able to take a normal hit.

If it makes you all feel better the D rankings are coming out and our Dline is 10th and LB's are 6th.

You all are 2nd in Dline and 5th in LB's.

Yeah, I was thinking more of his attitude, to be honest. It seemed to me that he had a bit of growing up to do. Of course, an injury will make you reassess things, so maybe he's changed.
