Hopefully, I'm not bothering you guys too much with all these polls. Just trying to get pumped until August 30th.
*So, I think it goes without being said that LSU & Arkansas are the two games that worry every Gamecock, but what about the other games? *If you want, list a reason why that particular game you chose worries you. |

I'm personally concerned about Vanderbilt. First game of the year, on the road, against a rising Vanderbilt team. Rodgers really has impressed me. I mean, this is the same Vanderbilt team that should have beaten both Arkansas and UGA. They also have been recruiting well, so IMO this game has me a little nervous.

1A) Tennessee - Coming off a brutal stretch, things won't get any easier with a high powered offense. Who knows what the mental and physical shape of our football team will be going into this game.
1B) Missouri - Unfamiliar team that should have a revved up offense. It seems the past 2 years we have had a game where we just don't show up and my feeling is if there is a game on our schedule where that could happen, this is it.

Georgia and LSU worry me the most. Georgia because it determines our chances of going to Atlanta. And LSU because its at LSU and is right in the middle of that Oct. stretch. One of the many important games. We could make a statement if we win. Show the world that this is not your granddaddy's South Carolina.
All of the SEC games are important and not one should be over looked. Fight like hell in every game and hopefully end up victorious. I believe that this team knows what they need to do. They are aware that they have the potential to become SEC champs. They can do great things this year. They could rewrite the program's history if they give 110% and play smart. They have the skills, the question is can they use those skills? I think they will. We'll be in the Dome in December. |

The game that worries me the most is always the next one on our schedule. It's pointless to look further down the road. So, the answer is Vanderbilt.

I agree. As long as we have the talent to compete, no team should scare us. Some might be favored and win, but that should come down to who makes the big play, the bounce of the ball, who has the best game plan and who adjusts best during the game.
We have been in the SEC plenty long enough to get past the shakes over the idea of playing any team. The games are tough, no secret there. We just have good talent, depth, and great coaches. After that, it is all a crap shoot, up to a point.

my philosophy has always been to take one game at a time. so, my choice is The Next One. we fans tend to want to jump ahead but that thinking is the downfall of many teams. the players tend to want to circle a certain game on the schedule then trip over one in between. i'm just saying...

UGA
1. It means the most for the division race 2. I have plenty of UGA fans that will rub it in my face because half of my high school went to UGA and I have made blanket statements on my FB making fun of UGA after the past two years ![]()

Georgia for sure... my family are Georgia alumni. from what I've heard personally from players... they want us bad. they are on a mission to shut lattimore all the way down. 2 years back to back with over 180 yards rushing. I don't think this board realizes how bad they hate lattimore. depth at RB or not... these guys are going to bomb rush the hell out of our line. I hope we make them pay for sure. I just don't feel good about this game at all. our season is riding on this one game fellas

I'm not worried about any of them. I am, however, nervous about them all. You can be so worried about something that you distract yourself from the prize waiting on the other side. Nerves, however, can help keep you focused. Hopefully, the team has that focus, and won't lose it during the games they should win.

If your answer is "none" or "next game" then why are you wasting your time participating in this thread with such a zero contribution? Out of the options available, I say UGA.

I am also nervous about Vandy. Good coach, disciplined players, great runningback. Until I see us holding up at the O-line and Diline fronts, I will be nervous and optimistic.

I am not "worried" for any games because this team has the talent, heart and passion to beat any team we play this season. I am "anxious" however to see how this team will respond to UGA after a start to the season where there is nothing we should have real problems with and to see how this team responds to what will most likely be a night game in the real death valley at LSU. This team is going to have to rise to the occasion and be ready for the big time moments...if they are, this team will not lose.
