Rams OG Watkins wins by losing

For those interested. Says he showed up overweight but is looking really good now. I hope he works his way into the starting rotation. We need a gamecock offensive lineman starting in the NFL. Not sure if there are any.

He went to the right team for early PT on the interior line. The Rams were awful last year in the trenches.

He'll probably be dealing with his weight for however long his NFL career lasts....I remember he showed up to USC out of JUCO overweight, and was RS'd as a result. He ended up having a solid career for us though, even though last year he played out of his best position, IMO....

Travelle waas released by the Panthers after 8 seasons as a starter (started as a rookie). He was picked up by the Bengals, and I think is in camp.

Might be he was getting paid too much and their younger guys were more cost effective.

Definitely pulling for Rok. He meant as much to the teams the past few years than more people give him credit for (specifically those outside of the garnet and black).

Here's hoping he has a long, successful, and healthy career in the NFL.
