C2 - how do we stack up for depth in the secondary? It's hard to keep track of what position players are being shuffled around at.

Ok C2 I got a question, what is the difference between boundary and field corner and what kinda player do you need at each?

I think we will see more situational starting lineups than ever before, based on the good depth at some positions and the varied attributes of players. I expect 4 tight ends to be used with a good amount of 2 TE sets. I expect more Bowens at middle linebacker against running teams and more Shaq against passing teams. I suspect Damario will start most games at WLB, but two or three backups getting PT. WR may be a three ring circus until the Georgia game with the top 5 or six being used mostly after that and a lot of two TE sets and some split out TE's (Adams and Buster) also.

It's interesting. As a result, we dont play WR/CB matchups. This is why you would see C.C Whitlock in man to man vs Julio Jones and the like, even when Gilmore and Culliver were on the field (Speaking of the 2010 year, of course).

This is the way I understand it as well. We play our bigger Corners (Gilmore the past 3 years) on the Boundary. I believe Auguste will be that guy this year.

DD Smith. Although it appears now that Ace Sanders is working at the X. Byrd and Ellington are at the Z .. Seems like Bubba is working guys around early until he finds a group he likes. It also seems like he is going to make a concentrated effort to get the ball to the B receiver so guys like Moore, K. Smith, Brent, and Jones are going to get more opportunities. I commented last week how the B receiver wasn't getting a ton of opportunities in our offense and Bubba said the exact same thing today.

C2 - D. Jeffery looked to me like he was busting tail at practice Saturday. You think he has a legit shot of taking over duties for Bowens?

Bowens will split time with Shaq at mike. Jeffery will start at Will and Quin will play some there as well.

Ace is moving to X, which will mean Byrd probably starting at Z and Bruce will play a lot of Z too.
