how's Jerrel Adams doing?

I haven't heard much about him yet, and I expect alot out of him. Have any of you that have been at practice seen much of him? Is he playing just TE, or a mix of TE and WR? How big is he now? Thanks.

TE. But we'll see some TE's split out wide in a lot of 2 TE set this year.

from just about everyone that has watched practice - he is doing very well and will play a whole bunch this year. The kid is HUGE

LOL. Spurrier slapped scott hood in the face after practice and said, "how the hell did you not rate him a five star?" He really was impressed he was like, Jarrel Adams is going to play a lot for us this year. He's about 6'5" 250 lbs can leap up and catch it and runs about a 4.55 or so. Then he said these are the best group of tight ends I've ever had. Seems like these kids who kind of come out of SC later in the cycle and are intense late in-state battles after blowing up in the shrine bowl are almost always great players.

He's the Freshman I'm most excited about.

Most important freshman is still Brandon Shell though.

Being that big and being a pass catching threat, along with Justice having back problems for the next few day. I imagine Adams will be getting alot of reps and will definitely play early.

Prep School is the greatest. We used to never have prep kids before spurrier, that I recall.

He played QB his senior year because of his versatility and they wanted the ball in his hands. He almost never threw. They had a really good tailback, and I think it was mostly he and Jerrell with the ball. He played both ways (1A school). At prep, I think he played TE, DE, and some safety at critical times. He had good hands when he was in HS, and scored 4 TD's in the Shrine Game, but one was called back. He was sort of uncoverable that week, I heard. Same game Clowney got about 4 sacks and the refs got tired of calling holding.
