Clay Travis predicts USC beats Southern Cal in the Nat'l Championship

For those who don't know Clay Travis, he is a very well-known college football "blogger," particularly around the SEC, and a Volunteer fan. He predicts that our only loss will be at LSU and we will beat Southern Cal for the National Championship.

Yeah he grew up a big time Vol fan, didn't go there at all, I think he went to GW for undergrad and then Vandy for law school.

Surprised he got off his knees in front of James Franklin long enough to make some predictions. Dude slurps him hard.

Clay hates Dooley by the way...so while he was a Vol fan he currently leans much more black and gold than orange and white.

read his article, but it seems more like fodder or comedy to me. He might be serious, who knows, at least his USC beating the fake USC is right on...

I mean, I suppose you're right, but he's probably right about Franklin, or at least there's a good chance. If the guy has a decent season he could have maryland calling at the end of the season to come back. Of couse, vandy likely has more $$$ than maryland unless Kevin Plank steps up for them.

It's always been amazing to me how someone makes a prediction about how good a team will be, those fans always agree and pat him/her on the back, and say how smart they are. But when someone predicts how bad a team will be or how a certain player wont' win the heisman or isn't the #1 player at that position, those same fans call the writer an idiot. It's not just here, it's everywhere.
