**USC vs. Arkansas GAME Thread**

The No. 12/11 South Carolina Gamecocks (7-2, 5-2 SEC) swing back into action this week when they host the Arkansas Razorbacks (4-5, 2-3 SEC) on Saturday, November 10. Game time is set for noon at Williams-Brice Stadium (80,250) in Columbia. The Homecoming game will mark the final SEC contest of the year for Carolina. The game will be televised nationally on CBS with Tim Brando and Steve Beuerlein in the booth and Marty Snider working the sidelines. Dial Global Sports is on hand for the national radio broadcast. John Tautges and Randy Cross have the call.

We must get over the proverbial hump this year to set up for next year's three-game road stretch. If we can beat the hogs this year while they still have a Petrino calling the offense and Wilson at QB, then I feel like we'll be in a good position for this game next year in Arkansas.

If the secondary can tighten up today, I think the game will be quite enjoyable for us. I mean the defense has now had a game where they have given up a ton of rushing yards and a game where they have given up a ton of passing yards, so hopefully they have those out of their system and can lock down every team from here out.

Also, the offense has had some games where the gameplan has been run heavy, and some that have been pass heavy, and one game where they just completely crapped the bed (along with special teams), so maybe the entire team can put all the pieces together and take care of business. Go 'COCKS!

Yep, the defense needs to step up and stop Arky from doing to us what we've been doing to Clemson the past few years.

Not with their pass offense and our pass defense it wont be. They are on a 3 game winning streak, not the same dumpster fire that was there earlier this year.
