I am really impressed with the...
turnaround in free throw shooting by this team. these guys were awful at the stripe over previous years, but are shooting lights out this season already. i think they shot right at 80% as a team in the last game, and had a really good percentage in the first game as well.
i also have to say that i love frank really giving it to them after the game. it isn't good enough for frank, to just win the game. you need to play it the right way, and compete in every aspect of it. i love it!!!!

Frank Martin teams almost always lead the conference in FT attempts/makes and rebounding. It will be no different here at USC.

Attended the game yesterday... This team is a complete 180 from last year. Players were calling each other out, pushing each other to be better. Frank was constantly coaching throughout the entire game. Effort was through the roof. Leonard and Richardson weren't constantly jacking 3's, instead, they were slashing lanes and knocking down mid-range jumpers. The team also FINALLY looked like they found the gym.

I would love to lead the SEC in FT attempted, FT made, and team FT percentage. USC has never done that. If we could do that, it would go a long way toward helping us win games and have a good season. I also think that Brenton Williams has a chance to be the top FT shooter in the SEC.
