Odd camera part looked like a Rifle scope

Did anyone else see the rifle scope on the big screen right before the flyover? I have a pic but cannot post it from my iPhone.

WYFF in Greenville has a 300X line of sight scope similar to that on one of their HD cameras that is used for outdoor high quality videos. It is used to align the HD camera at great distances with the optic read from a light meter and refractor. It is about the same size as a rifle scope and has a small electronic light meter inside that will zero out when a video is capturing the best refracted light of the background in a camera shot.

I am not saying that is what that is, but I sat beside a camera station with one like it at the Opening night Greenville Drive game this past season.

Picture was a bit blurry from the screen and it definitely looks like a rifle scope, but it does not look like it is mounted on a rifle. You do not see any barrel or stock and you should be able to see that.

It is a scope of some kind but it does not appear to be attached to a firearm. It's mount is way to high for it to be on a firearm.

It appears to be a rifle scope from the profile but that doesn't look like a rifle it's mounted to. Any other pics with better quality? Also, those mounts are extremely tall, especially for a sniper rifle. Most likely a TV camera with a spotting scope or microphone device on top.

They were trying to show the flyby on the big screen. The scope is to align the camera to the target to be shown. I don't know why they didn't just put the camera in the south upper with the teams' film crews (unless there wasn't room for them there). Also, if you were there, the flyby was off center just a bit...I think that this was so that they could film it better, but they flew it to the wrong side. IE...they were closer to the camera, not farther away.

But, I did see this on the big screen yesterday and that was my immediate thoughts.
