The callers are always idiots, but tonight was absolutely the worst. I didn't hear one decent question all night.

People call in and then they don't ask a damn question. Or if they do, it is the most ridiculous general question you could even think of that you know coach isn't going to answer.

I agree it was the worst. I feel embarrassed for listening to it. The first caller crowed like a rooster and it was all downhill from there. I think these people's only source of contact with the outside world is a radio and their rotary phone.

Honestly, if tonight was any indication of how the week will go, we will play our worst game of the year, because the call in show SUCKED!! Worse than normal.

PS- It is a joke. Please don't respond that call in shows have nothing to do with how we will play.

I didnt listen tonight but by this post alone, I think I have heard Keith call in before.

A tad late for this suggestion but maybe next year we should do a questions for Spurrier post on Thursdays and some of us could call in. Imagine Coach and Todd's reaction if they had some decent calls. Im sure it irriates the hell out of them to answer some of these.

I'm not so sure. I think that's by design. Not sure they're really up for thought provoking questions. Even the post-game press conferences... those "journalist" guys are paid to ask questions... and they can't come up with anything to stretch the conversation.

I don't think we'd make it past the call screener, but I agree that somebody should try.

You know, somebody did bring up something interesting. My signal was not that great but I picked up a little of it, and its about that trick play Clemson used to love to do where a receiver lines up right next to the sideline as if he was out of bounds. Was that outlawed? I'll hang up and listen.

I don't disagree that there are some moronic questions except mine. I've been to the show live and HBC always gets irritated in his face when callers get into how we should run the offense or who we should play. But if some of you don't like the show and the questions, call in yourself and ask something or don't listen. Just sayin', they may be morons but they have the guts to call into the show, some especially after they've had a few drinks.

I have tried to call in two times...... once last year, and once the year before I believe! If you call just before the show, you will get on every time!

Instead of complaining all the damned time, why don't ya'll come up with some good questions...... and call in!!!!

I, like many other cockytalk members, work at night. So we try to get info on the call in show from here....But pretty much all we read is people making fun of the callers..So here's a thought for those who ridicule:
How about call in and share your brilliance, or shut the hell up.

Judging by a lot of posts on this board, I don't know what leads you to believe they would get more decent calls from here.
