He's a senior currently, not going to be there.

That being said, I was disappointing with the title when his official act was simply talking with NC State, and not having accepted the job(so far).

Because of where this thread is (a South Carolina board), please don't misunderstand my intent by asking this. Anyway, do you have a link to Morris "officially" withdrawing from contention? I'm just always a little wary when a fan reports something like this because it is sometimes more about what the fan wants than what is actually happening. Any legitimate source you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

I agree. Even if Morris doesn't go to NCSt, there are too many openings out there for him not to get a HC job somewhere.....this year. But at least it was fun while it lasted, right taters.....be grateful for the time you had together.

If Morris does stay at Clemson, I think it's only because he's waiting for a HC position at a specific school or state to open up, but not because he's trying to be loyal to Clemson.

I don't really follow Clemson recruiting, except for the rank and the obvious big fish (including the one that got away, Nkemdiche). How is Morris thought of as a recruiter?

Not trying to talk smack, but you withdrawal your name as a way to save face when they tell you they're going with someone else. Morris wouldn't turn down $2.5 million trust me.

Yeah they said he got the feeling that they were going in a different direction. Sonny Dykes was their top choice overall and it looks like they got their man.
