Kid came out of high school a relatively unknown Olineman. Started his entire career. Started out at Guard, moved to Center to better the team. Been a big part of the gamecocks biggest victories! Now considered one of the Top Centers going into the draft. He has been the Anchor that the Oline needed. Great attitude and character! I know he will be a great success on the next level. He will be missed next year when the Offense takes the field and theres no number 55 in the middle. Thank You TJ Johnson for picking South Carolina! You will be missed!

T.J. holds two career records at USC.....he's started every single game he's ever played for us (52 consecutive and counting), AND this season he moved past Cliff Matthews for the all-time most starts for a Gamecock football player, consecutive or otherwise (Cliff had 47 overall starts for us).

The previous USC record for consecutive starts was 43, held by Todd Ellis.....

Same. Both for that reason and I always wonder what relation the player is to the poster. I always ask myself if they are a close friend or family member trying to get the player more publicity & thanks, or just a crazy fan.

What does it matter if it were a close friend, family member or crazy fan. Can anyone deny that he will be missed after starting 50 some games in his career as Gamecock. I dont think the guy needs much extra publicity either; All SEC, All American teams over his stay here. Is to much to say Thank You for being a Gamecock and giving credit where credit is due. Sorry that weirded you out.
