I'm reading it was Jovan Belcher. Shot his gf in their apartment then himself at the facility.

Sad story, even if it's only half true.

At least one of those articles said that the NFL told the panthers to travel as planned. Seems like if this game doesn't have any playoff implications they could just give the Chiefs a week off. I'm sure they need it after something like this. I know they don't want to lose TV money and stuff, but couldn't they just plug a different game into that slot? There's always a few you can't watch.

I think when we have kids in college that have issues, said issues are greatly increased at the Pro level and when millions of dollars are involved.

It's definitely sad to hear about anyone passing away, much less committing suicide. But to take an innocent life before you take your own...it's hard to feel "sorry" for that person to did it.

Willing to bet that someone comes out and "blames" the NFL due to concussions, etc..., when the truth is, this guy had some deep issues before hand.
