Go to the 14:26 mark and you'll see Tennessee - USC game. In it, you'll see a great close up of our old helmet/logo, our old end zone design, and our old midfield design. Thought our younger fans would get a kick out of seeing them.
I was at this game and it was exceptionally exciting and without a doubt, the most painful USC loss I ever witnessed. We were huge underdogs and were playing the undefeated, #1 team in the nation and played our hearts out. Late in the game, we were trailing when Tommy Suggs hit Doug Hambrick or Jimmy Mitchell (can't remember) with an old fashioned 80 yard TD long bomb. The fans erupted. Earlier in the game we had made a 2 point conversion to take a lead in the game in a seesaw match. UT won the National Championship and won our game by driving down the field. Seems I still remember the time on the clock when they took over on their last drive as 1:34. They kicked a FG to win with seconds remaining. http://www.youtube.com/v/g4dV73TPGZQ

I liked the end zones. Very collegiate.

Really cool, and a little bit depressing. I just witnessed another heartbreaking defeat that I had no idea existed. They ate us up with that draw play.

BTW, UT did not win a MNC that year. They were 11-1 after beating Air Force in the Sugar Bowl. Nebraska and Texas won the AP and UPI titles respectively.

UT always beat us like that. Even up until around 2007. Have a late lead, they make some insane late play to steal it.
