Wilds in Outback?

Since the regular season is over and it will be a new year, can we play Wilds without jepordizing his redshirt? What about all the other redshirts; do we think we'll see some play?

No. It is based on the academic year, not the calendar year.

This would be a great rule change, IMO. Would add some more flavor to the bowls (although it's probably relatively rare for an impact player to be redshirted.)

How cool would it be if we were up big in the 4th to get to see guys like Nosovitch and K. Smith get out on the field?

No it wouldn't. It would be a stupid rule change. If you play in a New Year's Eve bowl, your RS players can't play. If your players play in a New Year's bowl, they can.

Really think that will go over well?

Have you guys forgotten a young man who is a senior and will be wearing his CAROLINA jersey for the last time in this game. A young man who has been loyal to Carolina and came back for his senior year(when he could have transferred and started every game)even though he knew he would be the backup. His name is Kenny Miles. Don't you think he deserves to play every snap of this game that he can play? We'll see what the young guys can do soon enough, but come Jan. 1, show tons of love to Kenny Miles. We will need him to play well if we're gonna win this game.

Miles and Davis will get the ball every time. If they both go down we'll throw every play or give it to Ellington.

I'd love to see Kenny run for a buck 50 in his last game as a gamecock

Still recovery from injury (broken wrist).

Redshirt last year. Injured this year so technically a lost season unless we file for a medical hardship waiver, which would result in an extra year of eligibility (I believe).

There has been talk that Shon Carson may very well play in the bowl game. Wilds wont bc he's going to get a redshirt. Carson already had one last year and he does not want to be in college for 6 years

That's all well and good but you can't stick with Kenny just because he's a senior. If he's not doing well at all we need to try and put another back in for a change of pace. I want to win the game however we can.

As long as Kenny and Davis can play, I say a two-person running back team is enough. But I am looking forward to seeing Carson play last year. Unfortunately, like Lattimore he is injury prone.
