Anyone else think it's ridiculous that Jarvis Jones was named Defensive Player of the Year? I know he's good, but he disappeared for entire games (against us, most of the SEC Championship game). You can't say that about Clowney.

DJ s/b first team no doubt. I was kinda hoping to see Justice at least make second team...i'm not sure how his stats stack up with Rivera though

DJ had a better year than Eric Reid. You don't even have to be a gamecock fan to know that. I hate how preseason hype factors in to these decisions sometimes.

For the amont of games Carolina won, its total BS to have only 3 total players on this list. Complete BS! TJ, AJ, and Justice should be on the second team. DJ first team.

Congrats to all those guys. I do find it hard to believe that they're two better safeties than Swearinger. I'm not buying that.

While I agree with your statement, offensively we had no RB, WR or TE will big numbers that's why none our offensive players were named....although, I think TJ should have been been 2nd team. However, defensively, we should have had at least 2-3 more on defense. You can't be one of the top defenses in the country and not have more named all SEC.

The lack of players we have on the 1st and 2nd team exemplifies just how good our coaching staff really is.

Yes it should have been Clowney but the SEC loves them some Georgia just look at the cream puff SEC schedule the league office gives them most years, had we made the title game he would have won it.

Eddie Lacy 1182 yards, 16 TD's, probably would have had 1700 yards if their weren't blowouts.
