Good to see Vandys ..Matthews make it...He is good...Met his Mom and Dad at the hotel after our game with them...Good folks even tho they went Bo Pellini on me...Matthews is a player and will have a good career in the NFL..

Anyone else think it's ridiculous that Jarvis Jones was named Defensive Player of the Year? I know he's good, but he disappeared for entire games (against us, most of the SEC Championship game). You can't say that about Clowney.

it does feel like playing for georgia and being a rs junior got him the nod. both had great seasons though.

He had a great season, but in the 2 biggest games (arguably) he was a total non-factor. Against us and the SEC Championship game.

While I agree with your statement, offensively we had no RB, WR or TE will big numbers that's why none our offensive players were named....although, I think TJ should have been been 2nd team. However, defensively, we should have had at least 2-3 more on defense. You can't be one of the top defenses in the country and not have more named all SEC.

Yes it should have been Clowney but the SEC loves them some Georgia just look at the cream puff SEC schedule the league office gives them most years, had we made the title game he would have won it.
