Pretty much knew that when he committed to USC. When you have pro
scouts saying if it was in the rules, they'd have taken him out of High School and he'd be an NFL All Star his second / third year in the leauge, that is a kid who's destined to play football for a living. Clowney is a once in a lifetime talent, and all you can do is be glad he signed to play here, and know when he's setting new NFL records in the next decade, that he was a Gamecock. Enjoy the show next season. It will be AWESOME !

The projected first round pick of next year's draft, who happens to be herald as a once in a decade type defensive end (some say once in a decade athlete), says he will go pro as soon as he is eligible? No surprise there. I hope he has a healthy year next year and enjoys the rest of his career. Glad he chose us over Bama.

I'm pretty sure I remember Spurrier saying JC was a 3 and done type athlete. JC will be breaking records and making all NFL QB's have night terrors like Aaron Murray

I can't blame Clowney. He's NFL ready right now. Still, it WOULD be nice if ONE star player would turn down the draft to stay every once in a while. It happens at other schools.
