They are losing 3 or 4 guys on offense and 4 to 6 guys on defense, depending on how many early NFL departures they have. The low numbers are the Sr's who will leave. They are also losing their place kicker. If Bernard leaves, they will lose their best offensive weapon, he really fast and overall a good player.

Overall in 2012, they had a better offense statistically, but they played in the super weak ACC. Their D Line was really good, but they are losing the NT in their 3-3-5 system. This game is at Williams Brice, which gives us a huge edge. Also, when was the last time Spurrier lost an opening game, ever? I don't remember. I think this is a good matchup, and unc will be competitive in the ACC next year, but we should win.

I like UNC's coach. They would have been in the ACC title game this season if eligible. Would be nice to beat them soundly then watch them represent the Coastal division in the ACC title game. It's very possible with VT and Miami down.

USC hasn't played well in the first game recently, so I think it may be closer than alot of you think. USC will still come out on top though.

GT owned the tiebreaker, GT would have gone over them had they been eligible. Still not saying a whole lot finishing 5-3 in that division.

Coach Spurrier has only lost once in a season opener in his head coaching career, and he was a HC in the ACC when it happened, at Duke. It was in 1989, the year he led the Blue Devils to the ACC title. And he lost to South Carolina...

We currently have an 11-game home winning streak, going back to October of 2011....I doubt we'll let UNC of all opponents be the ones that break the streak...

Actually it was a 3 way tie in the division.
Miami GT and UNC were all 1-1 against eachother.
