Odd now that he'd move up the chart with TJ leaving. I think he has been injured some though, not sure how bad.

I have absolutely nothing to factually base this on except for personal experience with him in a couple of classes. I would not be surprised to find that he may have not been keeping up academically.

Cody Waldrop will be our starting center next year. Kid is a stud. This hurts depth though.

Any possibility of Bryce King working his way up to a backup role? I have Clayton or Cody down as possible starters.

FWIW everything I read has said Waldrop has been really impressing other players. The only reason he wasn't a 4* was height. He's a straight mauler.

now, i can finally talk about cody..i watched that guy twice on espn2 and he is a flat out beast. he benched 450 in high school. who knows what he is up too now.

Just means some of our younger guys are going to have to step up.....we are a bit thin as far as depth is concerned at the OG and C positions, but will still have Waldrop, C. Stadnick, and even walk-on Travis Ford to provide depth. Don't know how much both Brock Stadnick and Will Sport can help out in the interior. We may need one of the incoming freshmen to step up their first year for depth, which was something I was hoping we'd be able to avoid next season....

I will never blame a player for transferring. He needs to go somewhere that he will be happy. Best of luck to Kyle and his future and thanks for being a Gamecock, even if it was a short stay.

Patrick did play some center his freshman year. He could possibly move there.
