In a story about Kingsbury
In these weeks after the ouster of Gene Chizik at Auburn, it was particularly apparent that Gus Malzahn was more central to Auburn's ascendancy in 2010 (though Chizik deserves all the credit in the world for hiring Malzahn as his offensive coordinator). Similarly, it is felt in much of the college football community that Morris – the offensive coordinator, not the head coach – is the man who is most responsible for turning Clemson into a 10-win program and the 2011 ACC champion. With Morris losing in his bid to become Texas Tech's coach, Dabo Swinney – the Chizik of Clemson – gets his key coordinator for 2013. It is hard to see how Morris will remain a coordinator in 2014, but Clemson and Swinney have been given one more year in which to max out on offense. The Tigers get Florida State at home, so the table is set for them. http://cfn.scout.com/2/1248862.html |

its so true.
i don't care that morris stays at clemson or anything, its just annoying to hear about clemson so much in september and october before we kick their butts... if morris left, then we wouldn't have to hear all the hype before beating them, because they would lose more games. it still doesn't matter, we'll beat them anyway

chadmo is abo's version of what richrod was to tammy boutdum. add a little spence to the mix, and you have a handful of coathangers. neither offense is worth its weight in salt against a real defense

And technically...Morris learned from Malzahn...so technically they are running Gus Malzahn's offense.

This is so obvious, but I believe most Clemson fans understand it's true. Sure, some are homer's and love Dabo, but I think most believe/understand he's nothing more than a CEO.
Case in point.. During our game with them, and I'll never forget this, there was a sideline shot of their defensive huddle as they were preparing to take the field, and Dabo was in the middle doing his Dabo thing, cheerleading, etc., with Venables standing quietly behind him, and then when Dabo was through, he looked around, put his hand behind Venable's back and kind of guided him to the center of the huddle in a manner that said "OK, you can do some of that coaching stuff now".

Next year before the Clemson game Carolina needs to put a bronze mold of SOS's rear end where the Tigers take the field. Dabo can rub it or kiss it whichever he desires. Who knows it might bring him some luck. NOT !!!
