Didn't see this posted anywhere...but i was hoping this would happen...makes our openning game next year A LOT easier!

Yeah...dont' mean this in a bad way...but...the opening thread refers to who we are playing in opening game. Guess i should have clarified which sport

Since I'm sensing sarcasm if you weren't worried about stopping Bernard you don't watch college football. He is one of those players that is flat out good enough to carry an inferior team to victory. Bernard leaving makes me feel much better about this game and turns it into the perfect situation to get us ready for UGA.

Since I had to look it up I was trying to pass along information to others while letting you know that your OP was very unspecific. Personally I don't watch much ACC football unless it involves Clemson, so I don't follow UNC closely at all. As far as I know Bernard could be their QB, WR, DE, etc, etc, etc. Plus I couldn't remember if we had them first or East Carolina first, so I wasn't sure if maybe this was a QB or WR or something for them. Then since I didn't know what position he played I obviously didn't know anything about his stats or how much of their rushing production he accounted for. Including more of this kind of information will make for a better OP in the future.

UNC has a horrible defense, like Clemson, and maybe a redshirt freshman qb starting next year.

BTW, the fans had wanted a Gio for Heisman campaign next year.

I was more concerned about Renner....we've done well stopping runners (except LSU), but struggled stopping pocket passers.

Bernard is a great player in a weak league. But his numbers were good this year and the draft doesn't have a lot of quality RB's....so this is a smart move.

Bernard is really a good RB, dynamic kick returner too. I agree with IBleed that he and Stepfan Taylor will be the first two RBs taken in the draft

I kinda wish he had stayed on the basis that I'm not worried about beating UnCarolina next year and the less RBs are in the draft the better that is for Lattimore.
