This is Victoria. She died a hero today. She hid her first graders in the cabinets and closets after hearing the gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him that her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down and moved on. She saved the lives of all of her students. Please pass this on if you see it. She deserves to be remembered for her bravery.

I did see it on Facebook. I'm sure we'll be hearing stories of what happened in the next several days to come. I think I heard something about a teacher hiding her kids when it was being reported on the news. She is truly a hero.

If this is true that's amazing. I'm always skeptical of anything like this posted on facebook though, and the idea of a classroom having cabinets big and empty enough to fit a class full of kids is odd.

Yes, the events that took place are tragic, whether she did it or not, and like sandstorm2001 said, if it's true, it certainly is amazing. What I'm wondering is, why didn't she just close and lock the doors? I'm assuming her classroom had doors that would lock, unless of course, he kicked/ beat the door in. God Bless the town of Sandy Hook, it's such a sad situation.

She put the kids in the closet and was between them and him and was shot. But the part about her telling him they were in the gym i highly doubt.she is definitely a hero for getting the kids in the closet where they were found

I'b be real careful about what I accepted as "Truth" if it's only posted on
facebook / social media and has yet to be reported by any reliable Major
news source. There have been people on facebook reportedly stating
that they were the other gunner in the shooting that was reported right
after the story broke.

As was the case with the 911 incident, hundreds of stories and pictures
came out afterwards that were posted on the net, that were proven
False. To me, it's just about as bad to hear people make up stories of
heroics and bravery as it is to try to get some fame by making false
statements of being involved in it.

It "Might" be true, but if it were, and they've been reporting actual events
of heroism this morning, and so far this one has not been mentioned.
I find it hard to believe that it's being told on Facebook as Fact, but
Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN etc..... have yet to mention it.

That was kind of tough to watch. It's so sad that young innocent kids are gunned down for no reason. Senseless really.

I'll never understand how anyone could harm innocence children. I broke down like a baby when I watched it especially when she told the kids "I love you "
