idiot in my league traded Calvin for Brandon Lafell and Mike Williams (TB) earlier this year. Should have vetoed the sh** outta that but my hands were tied as we do veto by vote and some guys obviously were not paying attention. Dude that got CJ is destroying everyone and should easily win the league.

Still the yards speak for themselves the teams know where the ball us going, he made the catches. He is the best reciever in the game period. Wish he played for a better squad.

I don't necessarily think that it's garbage, so much as it's not as impressive as Rice's. The NFL is a passing league now (rules that favor the offense) and he happens to play on a team that passes 40-50 times a game. I bet it will be broken again within the next 3-5 years.
On the flip side, what Adrian Peterson is doing this year is impressive. |

I had the pleasure of watching Calvin all three years he spent at Georgia Tech. He has always been an incredible athlete, but he's also a great person and extremely deserving of this record. His last game in a Tech uniform was against WV in the Gator Bowl and he had somewhere around 8 catches for 240 yards and 3 touchdowns. We all knew he was gone and that he would be successful in the NFL, but I don't know if any Tech fan could have ever imagined this! Congrats Calvin!
