Someone just outbid me by $1 with 7 seconds left on a certain Gamecock jersey and I'm not too happy about it.

Cola...next time you want something on eBay, you need to use sniping software. I don't bid anymore the usual way. Since using sniping software, I have not lost an auction that went for under my max price. It takes the stress out of bidding bc it will bid automatically in the last 5 seconds...most software includes free snipes to begin with...

What if there is a group of people using the sniping software? How does it determine who will win?

When I use Ebay and I really, really want an item I'm one of those bidders that watch and keep bidding at the last seconds to insure I get the item. However, I didn't outbid you on a Gamecock jersey.

Why would anyone want a Zola Davis jersey? I remember him, but damn, not nearly as great as the boys on this team. Befuddled.

Because he was a Parade All-American out of HS, holds record at Carolina for most receptions in a game, most times receiving 175 yards or more in a game, 4th All-Time in total receiving yards (behind names like Alshon Jeffrey, Kenny McKinley, and Sterling Sharpe and ahead of a guy named Sidney Rice). He broke almost all of the freshman receiving records set by Robert Brooks when he came in and at the time, almost left Carolina as the most decorated WR in Carolina history.

good question? I honestly don't know the answer...I guess it may default to has the highest bid....you can usually tell when a snipe has been used when there is a last second bid from someone who had not bid on the item previously. Sniping usually gets you the item at a lower cost.

You get the first three snipes free then there is a fee associated with it, but like I said, I have always won using it (unless it sells above my maximum price) and have always saved money even when I pay the fee for the snipe.

Appreciate that. I will definitely go this route next time because the past 2 items I have lost have REALLY bummed me out and I wanted them badly.
