Kenny loved playing for this team and being a Gamecock...he'll truly be missed.

Kenny and Dylan are a couple of very committed Christians as well; they, along with Marcus, T.J. Johnson, A.J. Cann, and others, occasionally speak in churches and to other groups about their faith. They sometimes go together to these speaking engagements and I've been to one in which Dylan and Kenny were speaking. All of that is to say that the bond most of them have is a team-bond. Some of them are also brothers in Christ and are very close to each other. There are also some seriously committed Christians on the team who are not outspoken about it. I'm sure with Kenny being a veteran and Dylan a sophomore, it also was emotional for them both, as brothers, for Dylan to have done so well and put the last pass and score on the board in this big game on the big stage. In other words, happy for the win, happy for the success of the kid, happy for the season, and very sad that the end of the game was the end of his playing for Carolina.

God bless you Kenny! Thanks for being a Gamecock and for coming back for this year!

This is just part of what makes sports...team sports...so absolutely special. There is almost no other situation or dynamic where you will see men openly show love for one another in such a very real way than on a sports team. There is simply nothing else like it and we are all better for it.

That is the hardest moment of your college career knowing that this is it, he got to go out on a high note not everyone is that lucky. I remember my final college track meet against Clemson no less and it was a bad note and still left a bitter a taste in my mouth.

Kenny Miles wasn't the most spectacular player than some of our other RBs over the years, however the kid has done nothing but do everything was asked of him, he happily accepted being the backup to Latti, he stepped up when Latti went down, did all the right things, and even after he graduated he could have gone to any place he wanted to go be a starter what did he do, he stayed because he loves our university, he loves being a Gamecock.
