This is my theory. He has the Spring 2013 and Fall 2013 semesters (1 year). And then I think he has to be registered for Spring 2014 classes in order to play for the bowl game. Technically he will be playing football at SC in 2 different years (assuming we made a Jan 1 bowl).

Well it does happen people. Players do stay for their last yr. It happened with several high profile players in the past. I believe that Luck stayed and Boyd is staying and of course the Michigan OT that Clowney went toe to toe with on NYD.
