I've never really taken Deadspin very seriously, but if this is indeed true, then this is a huge discovery by them. If its a joke, then it's not funny at all. Only time will tell I guess.

I understand some skepticism considering the source, but this looks exhaustively researched and I would be stunned if Deadspin had just made it all up. They did their homework this time.

Nice to know that Clowney lost awards to not only an overhyped player, but someone who is also a fraud.

? Jezebel is still a site that reports on stuff (and it's all owned by Gawker Media but not run by the same exact people). Deadspin doesn't get respect from ESPN or SI because they're threatened by DS' willingness to report on the dirty side of athletics. Obviously we need more to come out, but it sounds like Teo was, um, "involved" w/ this other guy and they crafted a persona to match his football narrative and deflect attention from his, um, "involvement". (That's my guess anyway.)

It really does look like it but there has to be a mistake somewhere. I could be wrong, time will tell. If it is true its really messed up, I just dont see how Teo could have been such a great actor in some of the interviews I saw him talk about it.
