To put LSU’s 10 early NFL draft entrants into perspective, the entire SEC had 11 in 2012.
Then again, the SEC saw that number climb to 33 this year.
And, yes, there were a number of head-scratchers. That's always the case.

Losing Spencer Ware (4.2 ypc career) and Michael Ford (5.8 ypc career) in that group, along with Chris Faulk. Faulk is projected in the first 3 rounds and I wouldn't be surprised at all if the backs both got signed before team camps.
Almost anywhere this would be a terrible thing, but unfortunately we know all too well why it isn't at LSU. Of course, the leading rushers Jeremy Hill and Kenny Hilliard will return simply because they are too young to enter the draft now. **LSU is definitely the only team outside of Cola that I know the rb 6-deep** We also know LSU stumped one the best best defensive fronts in America, although very dirty (see cheap shot on Chaz Sutton), with a patchwork plug-in offensive line.
I don't fear any grass eating chump, but I'm alright with not seeing them this coming season. Unless we get revenge in Atlanta that is.
