2014 Class Starts Today

Well, I guess it's never too early to get a head start on next year's class.
Right now we have 59 on scholarship after making adjustments, then add 22 from this year and assume no attrition for the moment. That gives us 81.
Next year, we lose 5 seniors and 5 juniors (Ellington, Anderson, Quarles,
Clowney and Hampton)......could be more or less but this is just a guess.
Then assume we lose 4 through attrition, that leaves us with a maximum 2014
class of 15 (81-14= 67), then (82-67). I hope the math is right. Now list the positions, the number per position and players that will fill those spots. Try to be realistic.

Wouldn't Ellington still have another year to play football?

I've read where the first 2 will enroll assuming they have the grades.....don't know about Joe.

really depends how their academics work out and if they can enroll mid-year.

One thing I learned with kids that did not qualify out of HS and were placed at a JUCO - don't count on them being in the class until they actually enroll on campus.

From what I've read, having Adams as our DL coach now will help.
