Flags for the games

What do you guys think of having a Venezuelan flag and a Lithuanian flag in the student section for games? For Michael Carrera and Big Chat and Minda. Stupid or cool?

I used to bring a Lithuanian flag to some games when Evka Baniulis was playing for us and he always chuckled whenever he saw it. I think it's a GREAT idea.

Its a pretty cool idea. I've seen a few flags at Davidson basketball games. Canada's flag for Nik Cochran.

Personally I was the students would bring the random fatheads for TV games or something .

You can go to the fathead website and request a specific fathead to be made. It's pretty expensive though. I was looking and some stuff is upwards around 80 bucks.

I think it'd be great to have the two different flags - and to wave them after their respective native scores. Neat idea.

or to know a few words in native tongue to yell when they score / have a big play.

Or you can just take a picture to somewhere (FedEx Store) and have it enlarged and put on poster board and it's nowhere near as expensive.

I saw the Venezuelan flag at the game today, but I didn't see the sock puppets.

Flag was cool it was something different. The sock guys are on the end of the row from the flag guy. I think those guys did the sock thing or whatever for the Vandy game but I don't recall seeing it at any other games.

I left them in my car since it was a double header - too much stuff to keep up with. They'll be back next game. I did notice some other people are picking up on my "can't shoot free throws" chant and the band has been helping with the "one more brick" chant.

It would be cool if there were multiple flags - it would certainly make things more colorful and probably make Mike, Mindaugas and Laimonas feel more at home.
