Yeah I heard some rumblings about Peterson and possible PED use to get back so quickly, I hope it's all not true.

I still struggle with idea of if these drugs can help a player return from a catastrophic injury why aren't they "legal". I mean it's not anabolic steroid usage and these players are injured why are they not allowed to get the best medical treatment on the planet?

I mean the thing Kobe did in Germany (with his knee) a lot of guys have done since. I don't understand why the Association or League hasn't clarified on which drugs actually heal the body quicker and are not performance based.

That is an interesting thought.

I have not seen much about the benefit to risk of most of these substances that are banned and it also seems like there is no separation of the performance enhancing drugs (umbrella), steroids, illegal drugs and the substances that help athletes recover quicker - at least not under the testing standards.

Yeah I'm not saying steroids should be legal but, it's time for someone to classify which drugs/treatments just speed up recovery without performance increase (I guess thats part of the issue some players do whatever they want while others do it the right way).

I mean why can't everyone go get there blood put in a centrifuge and enriched or whatever the hell Kobe did to turn his knee into 28 year olds again. It seems like a no brainer.

Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with it, if a player is using it to recover from an injury.There should be some type of 'window' of time where he can be tested before he takes the field, so his system is clean then.

doesnt matter what the media or opposing fans think... if a doctor prescribes lattimore growth hormones to stimulate muscle, bone and ligament growth, it's perfectly legal. it's actually good if he is going that route. i'm all for it.
