Rivals vs 247

I am thinking of getting a subscription to one of the outlets. I am just curious to which most of you prefer for Gamecock info? I've had the trials to both, but it has been a while... Thoughts?

I don't subscribe to either but I follow most of their guys on twitter. For Gamecock coverage the Gamecockcentral (rivals) guys seem to be on top of everything. But for national recruiting 247 seems to be better.

I've seen an independent study done and 247 is the most accurate on recruit ranking.

I prefer Rivals. But that might be in part by my subscription to GGC since 1998

if you're looking for recruiting ranking...sure, 247.

but gamecockcentral has the better overall coverage of gamecock sports and gamecock recruiting.

example- TBS reported that Elliott had an offer from Bama, and then recanted that report. GCC did not have to recant any such report. There's something to be said about doing due diligence and reporting right the first time, even if you're not the first to report.

Nicely put. And I dont think that 247 has insider Forums or Insider Reports. Ill take Chris Clark's info over just about anybody and his reports on practices,interviews, recruiting visits, ect are always top notch and he updates his reports as the information is given to his throughout the day. He also lists his sources for big information and news
