**USC vs. Ball State GAME #2 Thread**

The game is at 4pm. You can use your ticket to get into the Men's basketball game tonight vs. Miss. State at 7pm.

I believe I heard that Curt Britt was getting the start today. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not sure of Ball State's starter.

I watched it from home on the TV, and it was a great game. There is nothing like being in Carolina Stadium though!

With Montgomery out he may be called upon next weekend with a good outing.

I imagine with Jordan out and Ball State seemingly overwhelmed right now, that we will get as many un-used arms out there tonight as possible, and give them some innings. I can't see us expending our more established pitchers during the mid-week if we're possibly going to be short for the weekend. Rider is a pretty capable ballclub...

Cannot wait to see "Psycho" at the bat (Shrock too)! He can flat out rip a baseball to a gap!! LB smashing them all over gives this Gamecock goosebumps. After some lean offense last season it's great to see the jump off of our bats.

Yea, TJ has got some tools but Bright will be the better long term solution in right. Having TJs daddy in the coaches ears like he was last year is something that our staff can certainley go without. Looking forward to setting Britt throw again tonight, he looked great last time out on the rubber

Costen has a huge upside if he can become consistent. The coaches are trying to give him every opportunity to get better and become a contributor.

He has a world of athletic potential and could be a terror on the base path.
He just has to get his bat going.
