Players should not skip years to avoid injury. There is always something you can make yourself better at. Besides, it's not all about WHERE you are drafted, it's about what you do when you get into the league.

The true issue is not about players getting hurt. It's about should players have to wait to get paid. Clowney is just being used as an example. My opinion is yes they should have to wait. They should have to do three years of college, to see if anything else peaks their interest, and make sure that there is not something else you'd rather do with your life because a career football player really is dangerous and can take a devastating toll on your body.
