We don't need to be waiting another half a decade for a good team, but last season was good so that factors into the calculus. Look at UF with Mullen. They were terrible. Plug in a good coach and away we go.

I couldn't agree more. He is exactly what we need, and he needs to know he will be given time to:

Build a roster, build the culture, and tweak his staff where needed.

The man is hungry, committed and knows football. Let him work.

That's all great. I'm on board. But if the offense sucks looking back at the end of this season and then repeats this fear next year, anyone who is rational is going to start sweating a little.

We have some athletes here maybe try some more of them on offense?

Which ones are you thinking?

Jamyest williams ? I think weve got some playmakers on offense Injust wish everything would click. I’ve never seen so many tackles for loss on our backs than I did in that Mizzou game.

It would be interesting to see Shi Smith on defense. I know T rob wanted him, but he’s too good not to be making plays on offense. Especially after Deebo leaves.

On the thread topic though, If Brad Lawing thinks muschamp is a hell of a coach and is the right hire and just needs the time then I’ll agree with that man.

I'm on board with that, too.

My problem is people are sweating NOW...before game 5 was even played...in year 3, after a 9-4 season, which ranks in the top 10 in our entire century+ of football. And our only losses are to two top 15 teams!

Muschamps first two seasons are tied with Spurrier and Joe Morrison for the best starts EVER. Considering where the program was left, this beginning is damn near miraculous.

Save the sweating for when it's time to sweat. Sweating now is irrational, and making the coach and potential recruits sweat now is entirely unproductive.

Let the man work. Let the man build.
