I like Richard better than either of them, but only slightly. However, Ritchie and Crosby complement each other perfectly.

I was just about to post something like this. Maybe we can move Crosby to LB to make up for Blue moving to FB, we don't currently have many prospects by way of ILB recruits, and depth is needed at that position. Then if Richard commits as well we can keep him and Ritchie as our two TE's for this class. If Richard doesn't commit here we might as well keep the depth at TE for now

IMO, Richard's athleticism is really unmatched by any of our TE targets, he would be a huge get

*Four-star 247Sports tight end Milan Richard of Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day School has four finalists -- Clemson, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The nephew of Georgia Bulldog great Herschel Walker, he will announce June 4. Richard also had been considering Georgia, but the Bulldogs, who recently got a commitment from tight end Jeb Blazevich, told Richard they will only take one tight end in this cycle. Clemson is considered the favorite. Vanderbilt, at least partly because of its academics, is a dark horse.

I wouldn't move Crosby to defense. His ball skills are too good. He is a serious offensive weapon. If we take Richard, which I don't think we get him anyway but I would just make Blue the LB.

I think our offense is going back to the 2010 influence where we run more from under center and utilize the h-back/FB type role. With the athletes we have coming in we could be very dangerous on offense.

My guess would be "no" - at this time. I think we hold a TE spot for Crosby. If he commits elsewhere, Milan might become a take.

In other words, I don't expect him to commit to us because (at least in part) I don't think his offer is firm right now.

I disagree. He is not a better athlete than Crosby and Ritchie prolly has the most NFL upside out of any of the three.

TE Milan Richard of Savannah will have a chance to do something his famous uncle Herschel Walker never did, score a touchdown inside Clemson’s Death Valley. Richard committed to Clemson Wednesday night after narrowing his list to Clemson, USC, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. Richard visited Clemson for the USC game last November and had the Tigers high up on his list since then. “He and his family have done a very good job from day one evaluating everything associated with somewhere and at the end of the day he just felt like it was the best fit,” said Richard’s coach Mark Stroud. “They use a guy doing various things and he’s a guy that can play in there and give them a situation where they don’t have to change personnel. I think he gives them exactly what they are looking for in the ability to keep him on the field in various places without changing personnel.” Richard had 22 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns last season. He had five touchdown catches as a sophomore. “He’s got the whole package, size and speed, explosiveness, everything you’re looking for in a player at that position,” Stroud said. “He has great hands, big hands. The kid’s an athlete.” Richard becomes the fifth commitment for Clemson’s 2014 class.
